The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a book about a boy who was sexually abused by his aunt but treat her like an idol, untill a day on christimas that she went to get his gift and suffered a car accident and dead, then Charlie, the main character, fault yourself for it. He has a panic attack and was hospitalized for some time.
When he came back to high school, passed for some difficults because his bestfriend Michael killed himself, and the other people who he had intimacy don't even say hi to him.
He met his two first friends in a football game, Sam and Patrick, who shows him other friends, but he started to use drugs to feel better about himself problems, because of their influence, he felt in love with Sam too, but she had a boyfriend who, according to Charlie, don't deserve she.
They became really friends and go out together very much, they are the only friends he had and they pass for difficults together. He tried to help with their difficults too, for example, the Patrick's problem with Brad, and Sam's problem with her boyfriend and her past..
Sam and Patrick finished high school and went to college untill Charlie had to finish high school, because he was in the first year.
